The first meeting of the Association was held at Huntley and Palmers on the 4th February 1967. Ellis Halfacre, then the President of the B.C.B.A. held temporary Chairmanship until the Officers of the Association were elected. Mr. E. Marsh was duly elected as the first Chairman.


The first Committee Meeting was held on the 9th February 1967, the main purpose being to formulate the rules of the Association, and after discussion it was agreed the Association was to be called:

“The Berkshire Vice Presidents Bowling Association”.


The Objectives of the Association:

Typically, we play about 13 outdoor fixtures and 8 indoor matches, often against other Vice President Associations on an alternating home and away basis each year.
